Meet Elizabeth Mojica, PMHNP-BC
Experience, Compassion, and a Genuine Commitment to Your Well-Being.
Elizabeth believes mental health care should be personal, compassionate, and built around each individual's unique needs. Her goal isn't simply to treat symptoms or prescribe medication; it's to understand the whole person, identify what is truly needed, and work together to support long-term wellness.
PMHNP-BCMore Than a Decade of Dedicated Psychiatric Care.
Elizabeth Mojica is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her master's degree with honors from California State University, Long Beach.
With over a decade of experience in psychiatric care, including working in acute inpatient psychiatric hospitals, she has supported individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges.
These experiences helped shape her belief in the brain's remarkable capacity for resilience, healing, and personal growth, values that continue to guide every patient collaboration today.
Mental Health Care Should Never Be One-Size-Fits-All.
Elizabeth understands that every person brings a unique combination of experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals. Her approach begins with listening.
She believes patients should understand their treatment options, feel comfortable asking questions, and have a meaningful voice in their care.
Medication management is an important part of her practice, but she believes in prescribing thoughtfully, avoiding unnecessary medications, and considering safe adjustments or reductions when clinically appropriate.
Her focus is always on what's best for the individual, not simply treating a list of symptoms.
PMHNP-BCA Relatable, Human Perspective.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys gardening, reading, stargazing, and discovering new television shows and movies. She believes a grounded, balanced life enriches the empathy and care she brings to her patients every day.
